J.W. Lucado D.V.M.

J.W. Lucado D.V.M. graduated in 1983 from the University of Florida, School of veterinary medicine. He is a skilled and experienced equine, feline, and canine veterinarian specializing in orthopedics such as fracture repair and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lucado maintains an active role in the community volunteering his services in horse race events, such as the Little Everglades Steeplechase. He also works as a relief veterinarian for other clinics in Pasco and Pinellas County. Dr. Lucado is the primary doctor for Cat Call and Cocker Rescue. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and American Association of Equine Practitioners. In his free time Dr. Lucado enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his animals, which include one Welch Corgi, two llamas, a bearded dragon, one horse and four cats.

Kerri Slomcenski, D.V.M.

Dr. Kerri did her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and at Florida State University. Go Seminoles! She worked for several years as a Certified Vet Tech (CVT) in the ICU department at Florida Veterinary Specialists. She went back to school and obtained her DVM at University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kerri's special interests include dentistry, ophthalmology, wound care and rehabilitation. In her spare time, she loves to travel, swim and enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Kerri shares her home with 2 dogs; Taz (Aussie mix), Angel (mix), and her cats Treo, Tigger & Jewel. She is a first time homeowner and is learning all about homeownership and trying to become a green thumb with landscaping.

Gretel Harvey

Gretel, our spirited receptionist is there to greet you with a smile and embrace your pet with kindness. She has been in the Veterinary field since 1985 and hails from Texas. She lives with her husband, Don, in Wesley Chapel and has been with us since August of 2007. Gretel has two cats, Pavarotti and Jasmine, along with two small dogs, El Nino and PoPo.

Robin L. Donnelly

Robin is our practice manager has been working in the veterinary field since 1997 and through her own initiative acquired many technical skills, as well as assisting surgeries, and pharmaceutical knowledge. She has been a valued member at our clinic since May of 2003 and has made many of our clients and pets feel comfortable on their visits. Robin is currently seeking her RN degree at PHCC and enjoys spending her free time with her three children and four Chihuahuas.

Clare Natali

Clare joined our team in February 2008 as our technician assistant. She brought with her great compassion when it comes to patient care. Clare has been a great asset to our practice and has created a bond with all our patients and clients. Her future plans include going to college for large animal vet care. In her spare time, she takes care of her three year old Min Pin named Kodi.

Amanda

Amanda joined our team in October 2009 as a Veterinary Technician. She has been in the veterinary field for almost 6 years and loves every second of it! Amanda completed a 2 year Veterinary Assistant program at Marchmen Technical Institute in 2006 and completed many volunteer hours with Dr. Spencer at Animal Control. She also completed her Associates Degree at PHCC and plans to enroll in an RN program to further her career in the medical field. She currently lives in Port Richey with 3 cats; Snowflake, Tigger and Mittens. Amanda recently adopted a 7 month old puppy named Kiara...

Annie

Annie joined our team in January 2010 as a veterinary technician. She has worked in the veterinary field for the past 10 years. Annie shares her home with a mixed breed puppy named Faith and 2 kitties named Sunny and Bell. They were all adopted from the humane society. Annie is currently enrolled at SPC and is working towards her RN. After graduation, she hopes to continue helping animals by volunteering with our local rescue groups.

Doris Foshee

Doris was the office manager for WCVH for many years. Several years ago she suffered from a ruptured brain aneurism and now works part time in the kennel. Doris hails from Germany but has spent most of her life here in the States. She lives in Wesley Chapel with her 3 dogs (PeeDee, Sally and Brooser), a chameleon (Coolio), and a bearded dragon (Lucy). Doris has is very dedicated to the best care for all animals...
